The King of Kings
The King of Kings
In creating The King of Kings, my heart was deeply moved by the profound love and humility of Jesus Christ. The image before you is a reflection of His grace, authority, and the quiet strength that He embodies. Every detail was chosen with intention, aiming to honor His divinity and sacrifice.
The crown of olive leaves upon His head carries deep meaning. The crown itself serves as a symbol of royalty and triumph and also as a reminder of the humility with which He reigns. Olive leaves also touch on His time in the Garden of Gethsemane, where He bore the weight of the world’s sins, showing that His kingship was one of sacrifice and redemption.
The King of Kings is more than a title—it's an invitation. It calls us to recognize the majesty and authority of Jesus Christ, but even more so, it calls us to feel His love, a love that is gentle, patient, and unending.
My hope is that as you look at this painting, you can feel the love, peace, and hope that Jesus offers. He is not just a distant King but One who knows us, cares for us, and loves us. I hope you see Jesus as He truly is—a King who reigns with justice and grace. A Savior who knows our hearts and offers peace and hope to all those who seek Him.
